During August, Ukrainian citizens acquired 7.9 thousand imported automobiles for passengers, each being less than 5 years old. This figure signifies 35% of the total of 22.7 thousand imported pre-owned vehicles throughout the month.
Delo.ua conveys this information, referencing Ukravtoprom.
Regarding the pre-owned automobiles younger than 5 years that were imported into Ukraine during the past month, electric vehicles held the most substantial part, accounting for more than half of all imported cars (51%).
Petrol-fueled cars ranked second in favor — 35%. Ukrainians demonstrated less inclination towards hybrid models, with these making up 9%. Diesel-powered automobiles comprised just 4% of the imports, while LPG-fueled cars held 1%.

The following models registered the highest demand among used automobiles up to 5 years in age:
- Tesla Model Y – 827 items.
- Tesla Model 3 – 452 items.
- Kia Niro – 275 items.
- Nissan Rogue – 274 items.
- Mazda CX-5 – 233 items.
- Volkswagen Tiguan – 217 items.
- Hyundai Kona – 186 items.
- Chevrolet Bolt – 159 items.
- Ford Escape – 148 items.
- Audi Q5 – 145 items.
Therefore, the Ukrainian marketplace for pre-owned automobiles up to 5 years of age is progressively shifting towards electrification, given that half of the imported models are electric-powered, with the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 leading in sales.
It is also worth noting that in August, the vehicle pool of Ukraine experienced an addition of approximately 6.8 thousand new passenger cars. In this total, 71% of the passenger cars were vended to individual customers, while 29% were procured by corporate entities.
