In August, the Ukrainian automobile park was augmented by almost 6.8 thousand brand-new autos. Of that quantity, 71% of the automobiles were retailed to individual clients, while 29% were procured by legal entities.

It’s worth noting that compared to July 2025, sales of new automobiles in the private sector of the auto market saw a 13% rise, whereas the corporate sector declined by 11%.

As indicated by Ukravtoprom, individual buyers favored the subsequent models when acquiring new automobiles:
- BYD Song Plus – 355 items;
- Toyota RAV-4 – 231 items;
- Hyundai Tucson – 215 items;
- Volkswagen ID.UNYX – 194 items;
- Honda eNS1 – 188 items.

Based on Ukravtoprom data, the succeeding models witnessed the highest demand among legal entities:
- Renault Duster – 352 items;
- Toyota Yaris Cross – 88 items;
- Toyota RAV-4 – 68 items;
- Volkswagen Touareg – 64 items;
- Skoda Octavia – 62 items.

We would like to remind you that throughout August 2025, Ukrainians bought about 6.8 thousand brand-new passenger vehicles. This figure is 16% lower than during the same timeframe last year.
In August 2025, the ten leading models comprised 30% of Ukraine’s brand-new auto market. The best-selling model for the month was the compact crossover Renault Duster.
Throughout August, the city of Kyiv, along with Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Kharkiv regions, represented the largest regional markets for new passenger vehicles in Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the year, a total of 46 thousand brand-new passenger automobiles have been documented in the nation, which represents a 3% reduction compared to the previous year.
