Contrary to experts' predictions that the payment for gas distribution in some regions will soon cost consumers 2,500 hryvnias, some Ukrainians will be able to pay for “blue fuel” at the minimum price.
This is what GazPravda writes about.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
The minimum payment will be introduced for those consumers who used almost no gas or did not consume it at all during the “gas year”. This means that even if there is no gas use, charges will still be made.
The amount of such charges depends on the type of installed equipment:
- 39 cubic meters per year – if gas is used only for cooking;
- 126 cubic meters per year – when the blue fuel is used for cooking and heating water;
- 314 cubic meters per year – if gas is also used for heating the home.
These norms are clearly defined by the Code of Gas Distribution Systems and are mandatory.

The only way to avoid paying for gas delivery is to officially terminate the contract with the operator. In this case, there is a physical disconnection from the network, and the pipe is actually cut off. If in the future there is a need to connect again, you will have to pay for the reconnection procedure.
Previously, “FACTS” wrote about what the “winter” electricity tariff is and how Ukrainians can pay less with its help.
