One of the most famous music producers in Ukraine, Yuriy Nikitin, has commented for the first time on his separation from his wife Olga Gorbacheva. In an interview with Alina Dorotyuk, he said that the decision to divorce was mutual, but Olga was the first to publicly say so. The couple has been living separately for several months and is preparing for an official divorce.
According to Nikitin, there was no infidelity in the marriage. The reason is fatigue from a protracted relationship and the need to “reboot.” At the same time, the producer is not sure whether the current breakup will be final: in the past they have already diverged and converged again.
“I don't know if it's final, but it's definitely a divorce. What's important to me is what kind of human relationships remain between us, not what our physical status is. It seems to me that now we have a better emotional and resource connection than during the period when we lived as a couple. It was a mutual story. We both felt that we needed time to reboot. There were no third parties in this story,” the producer shared.
Yuri and Olga were married twice: they first got married in 2007, separated two years later, resumed their relationship in 2011, and got married for the second time in 2016.
