The head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, has voiced his opinion on the hypothetical provision of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. In a conversation with Russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin, he mentioned that such an action might demolish Russian-American ties.
“You mentioned the US President, but there were matters pertaining, for instance, to discussing issues with the delivery of novel weapon systems, encompassing long-range high-accuracy Tomahawk systems, etc. I have already stated that this will result in the obliteration of our relations, or at least the favorable inclinations that have already been observed in these relations,” the Russian leader remarked.
According to his words, the evolution of the situation “hinges not solely on us, and not solely on me.”
Previously, the media disclosed that the ambition of the Trump administration to dispatch long-range Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv might prove impractical, as the available reserves are designated for the US Navy and alternative necessities. High-ranking American officials recently verified that the White House is contemplating the supply of these missiles. It was similarly conveyed that the US will furnish Ukraine with intelligence concerning targets within Russia’s energy infrastructure at extended ranges.
