Before the start of the 2025-2026 heating season, Ukrainians need to carefully check the status of their gas bills. This is important because the Pension Fund may require a special certificate to assign a housing subsidy.

As explained by Naftogaz of Ukraine, in some cases, when applying for a subsidy, the PFU may request a certificate of absence of overdue debts for gas supply services.
If such a certificate of no debt to the current supplier is missing, the client risks being denied the right to a subsidy. Most often, this document is required from citizens who have changed suppliers or have inconsistent payment data.
How to quickly get a certificate of no debt

Online method through Personal Account:
1. Log in to your personal account on the Naftogaz website.
2. In the “Online Services” section, select “Account Status Information”.
3. Click “Generate” and upload the finished document.

• Chatbots in Viber and Telegram.
• Self-service terminals (“Oschadbank”, “PrivatBank”, EasyPay, City24).
• Naftogaz service center (in person, by providing your passport/ID card and indicating your personal account number or EIS code).
