Demand for trucks in Ukraine is falling / Depositphotos
In August 2025, Ukraine recorded a decline in demand for new commercial vehicles. 937 trucks and special vehicles were sold during the month, which is 4% less than in July and 14% less than in August last year.
This is reported by Delo.ua with reference to data from Ukravtoprom.
TOP-5 brands on the new commercial vehicle market
Despite the overall market decline, some brands continue to hold leading positions. The top five most popular brands include:
- Renault — 117 cars sold;
- Citroen — 108 cars;
- Peugeot — 81 cars;
- Toyota — 77 cars;
- Hyundai — 75 cars.
In total, since the beginning of 2025, the Ukrainian commercial vehicle fleet has been replenished with more than 7.5 thousand new vehicles. This is 9% less compared to the same period last year.
Recall that in July 2025, 971 new commercial vehicles (trucks and special equipment) were registered in Ukraine. This is 13% more than in June and 2% more than in July last year.
