Lions return to series after Melbourne thriller

The British and Irish Lions came back from 18 points down to beat Australia 29-26 in Melbourne on Saturday, ending the series with a Test match in front of an ecstatic army of fans in red.

Hugo Keenan gave the Lions the lead with a late try in front of a record crowd of 90,307 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, leaving the Wallabies devastated.

Dan Sheehan, Tom Curry, Huw Jones and Tadhg Byrne also contributed tries for the Lions, who secured their first series win since beating Robbie Deans' Australia 2-1 in 2013.

While Andy Farrell's side celebrated their success, the hosts, who led 23-5 at half-time, had a tough evening.
