An extensive security operation has been mounted around US President Donald Trump as he played golf at the start of his five-day private visit to Scotland.
The president arrived at his Trump Turnberry resort in western Scotland, which he purchased in 2014, on Friday evening.
On Saturday morning he was spotted on the golf course wearing a white cap and driving a golf cart.
A significant number of police and military personnel were seen searching the area around the event in South Ayrshire ahead of the incident.
Some roads were closed, limiting access for both local residents and media representatives.
Mr Trump stopped in Turnberry at the start of a five-day private visit to Scotland, during which he plans to hold talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Scottish First Minister John Swinney.
He is also scheduled to meet European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday to discuss trade issues.
Since there are probably no talks scheduled for Saturday
