Chris Eubank Jr said on Saturday that he intends to play the role of matador and treat Conor Benn like a bull.
The rivals, whose animosity reached its boiling point at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, met in an official ceremony at Canary Wharf on Tuesday.
The feud between Eubank Jr. (34-3-0) and Benn escalated when he hit his opponent with an egg at a press conference in February.
Benn attributed his two positive drug tests, which led to the cancellation of their 2022 fight, to his excessive egg consumption.
Eubank Jr. said: “This fight isn't about size or weight, it's about skill and dedication, experience and all the things that I'm good at. I've got years of experience against Conor Benn and that's going to be the defining factor on the night.
“I'm a real fighter, I've been doing this for so long that I've forgotten more things than he knows, and it's going to show tonight.
“The fight will take place according to my script, everything will be the way I want it, I will be like a matador in the ring, and Conor Benn will be a bull.”
Benn will fight for the third time since 2022 on Saturday as he continues his quest to become a future world champion.
Victories over Rodolfo Orozco in 2023 and Peter Dobson in 2024 have boosted Benn's confidence that he can extend his unbeaten streak in the capital.
“It's always personal. People say it's business, but to me it's not business, it never has been,” Benn added.
“If you try to grab me and knock me unconscious, it's not business anymore, it's a personal matter.
“I really want to get him, I wish I had done it already and we had fought. The hard work is done and I'm excited to go out and do something with him.”
Chris Eubank Sr did not attend the official ceremony following his comments last week where he called his son a “disgrace” for his pre-fight antics.
Eubank senior met Benn's father Nigel Benn twice in the 1990s, and their rivalry fuelled the hatred between their sons.
