France Provides Ukraine with Military Intelligence While US Freezes Key Information

French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said on Thursday that France was continuing to provide military intelligence to Ukraine after Washington announced a temporary suspension of information exchange with Kiev.

The decision followed the rejection of a peace proposal put forward by France and Britain by the Russian Foreign Ministry, which said it merely gave Ukraine an opportunity to improve its military.

The United States said Wednesday it was suspending intelligence sharing with Ukraine, cutting off the flow of critical information that has helped the country deal with Russian aggressors.
