Donald Trump will meet with the President of the European Commission as he prepares for a five-day trip to Scotland.
The US president arrived in the country on Friday evening and was spotted playing golf at the Trump Turnberry resort the following day.
However, on Sunday he will meet European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss trade relations between Europe and the United States.
The talks come ahead of a meeting with British Prime Minister Keith Starmer on Monday, where trade is also expected to be discussed.
The UK and US recently signed a trade deal and further talks are expected to focus on this issue, with Mr Starmer reportedly set to press the US to reduce tariffs on British steel.
The start of the discussions marks a move by the US president to make a move during his private five-day visit to Scotland.
On Saturday, he was spotted at the famous Turnberry golf course, which he purchased in 2014.
While the president enjoyed a game of golf, a massive security operation was launched.
He travelled in his own golf cart, but Mr Trump's heavy security presence meant he was accompanied by a number of such vehicles.
Even before classes began, police and military personnel could be seen patrolling the area around the Trump Turnberry resort, which had been surrounded by a metal fence as part of heightened security measures.
There were no protesters on Saturday as he played golf, although hundreds gathered in Edinburgh and Aberdeen for demonstrations against his visit organised by the Stop Trump coalition.
After spending some time at his resort in South Ayrshire, the president will head to Aberdeenshire, where he is expected to open a second golf course at the Trump International Golf Resort in Balmedie.
