The Russian Federation’s President, Vladimir Putin, is planning a journey to Beijing this week to converse with China’s President, Xi Jinping.
Putin is expected to receive a greeting at the airport upon arrival in Beijing on Tuesday, as stated by the Kremlin, which mentioned he will be welcomed by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Subsequently, on Wednesday, discussions between Putin and Xi are scheduled to take place at the Great Hall of the People, succeeded by a formal welcoming event, according to the Kremlin.

The two figureheads "will deliberate on China-Russia connections, collaboration across diverse sectors, and global and regional matters of shared importance," expressed the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The state visit signifies Putin’s 25th excursion to China, according to the spokesperson.
The trip follows last week’s significant, extended summit between Xi and President Donald Trump in Beijing.
The pair discussed the U.S. engagement in Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, fentanyl, and escalating Chinese procurements of American agricultural goods, according to an official from the White House.
Xi also cautioned that if the matter of Taiwan is managed "inappropriately," the two countries might "enter into a conflict," as stated by China’s official news agency, Xinhua.
