The signed agreement provides for the establishment of a joint venture company that will be responsible for the construction and management of the hotel complex in Airport City. In the first phase, capital expenditures related to its construction are estimated at approximately PLN 650 million, including equity and debt financing, the release stated.

According to the agreement, modern facilities in various segments, from economy to premium, will be built in the immediate vicinity of the airport. The Airport City hotel complex will also accommodate conferences, industry events, and business meetings. The first facilities are expected to be ready for the opening of the CPK airport in 2032.

“With the signed agreement, we are beginning the planning phase for a hotel base that will support the airport's competitiveness. This is an important beginning of a joint journey between CPK and PHH, which will shape the investment cooperation in the implementation of hotel projects within Airport City CPK,” emphasized Filip Czernicki, CEO of CPK, quoted in the press release.

According to PHH President Rafał Kincer, this is one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Poland. ” Our role will be to create a hotel facility that will not only meet the needs of travelers from around the world, but also highlight the potential of the Polish economy and the domestic hotel industry . This investment will be significant not only for the development of PHH but also for Poland's image as a modern and hospitable country,” he added.

The CPK Program will include the construction of a central airport between Warsaw and Łódź, as well as a high-speed rail system. The new airport will initially be designed to handle 34 million passengers annually and will be flexibly expanded in the long term, in line with market needs and forecasts.

According to the adopted schedule, construction of the CPK airport in the Baranów, Wiskitki, and Teresin municipalities is scheduled to begin in 2026. The airport is expected to obtain the necessary certifications in 2031, and it is scheduled to open in 2032, along with the first section of the Warsaw-CPK-Łódź high-speed rail line in Poland. The estimated investment cost by 2032 is PLN 131.7 billion. (PAP)
