The European Commission's new proposals have caused a stir in the ESG market. Companies that invested in sustainable development early feel aggrieved. Is this the end of the green revolution?

“A great many entities, wanting to behave fairly and responsibly in relation to the new legal requirements, began preparing for these changes much earlier. They incurred costs and now it suddenly turns out that either it will be postponed or they will not be subject to the directive at all, because the limit of people employed has been increased. These companies may feel cheated in some way, because they incurred financial and organizational costs,” comments Piotr Glen.
