
Ukrainian national team striker Roman Yaremchuk, who became the Greek champion and the winner of the national Cup with Olympiacos last season, won his third trophy — the national Super Cup — as part of Oleg Blokhin's former club.

In the match for the trophy, which was played for the first time in 18 years, the Ukrainian team defeated OFI in extra time – 3:0 (Teremi, 90+5, from penalty, Kalogeropoulos, 107, Yazidzhi, 113) and won the Greek Super Cup for the fifth time. Yaremchuk entered the game in the added minutes of regular time, managing to provide an assist and hit the goal of the Cretan team in overtime, but both goals were canceled due to offside.

This season, the former forward of Dynamo, Oleksandria, Gent, Benfica, Club Brugge and Valencia has scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist in 13 matches in all tournaments.
For 30-year-old Yaremchuk, this title was the fourth in his career. Before the Greek “hat-trick”, Roman became the champion of Belgium in the shirt of “Club Brugge”.
