Sunday sport: Ballygunner win Munster title, Cushendall win in Ulster

Ballygunner of Waterford have won their third Munster Club Hurling title on the bounce this afternoon. They were no match for Clonlara of Clare who came up short with the final score Ballygunner 2-24 Clonlara 0-15.

Elsewhere, the Ulster Hurling title is going to Antrim. Cushendall have beaten Slaughneil by 0-20 to 2-10 in the final.

And St Brigids of Roscommon beat Galway’s Corofin 1-13 to 2-5 in the Connacht Football Championship final at Dr Hyde Park.

They’re underway in the big Premier League game of the day.

Champions Manchester City are at home to Tottenham where it’s 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. Heung Min Son has scored in both nets to level things up.

Earlier, Liverpool staged a late comeback to beat Fulham 4-3 in a thriller at Anfield.
