Gaelic Games
The Allianz Football League Finals get underway at Croke Park this evening.
Laois and Leitrim do battle in the Division 4 decider from 5 pm, before Down take on Westmeath for the Division 3 honours, with throw-in at 7.15pm.
Rugby
Three of the provinces are in United Rugby Championship (URC) action today.
Connacht were pipped at the death as they fell 18-14 to Benetton in Italy.
Ulster face the Stormers in Cape Town from 5.15pm, and Munster host Cardiff at Thomond Park from 7.35pm.
They’ll be hoping to emulate Leinster’s success after Leo Cullen’s side took a 47-14 win over the Bulls at the RDS on Friday night.
Soccer
Sheffield United remain bottom of the Premier League after letting a 3-1 lead slip to draw 3-3 with Fulham.
Fellow strugglers Burnley came from behind twice as they drew 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, despite being reduced to 10-men.
There was another thriller in the lunchtime kick-off as Newcastle overturned a 3-1 deficit to beat West Ham 4-3.
Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace moves them out of the relegation zone, above Luton – who lost 2-1 at Tottenham.
Bournemouth were 2-1 winners against Everton. The action’s continuing this evening with Aston Villa taking on Wolves in a midlands derby.
With 20 minutes gone, it’s scoreless in that game.
At 8pm, Brentford host Manchester United.

After a weekend of All-Island Cup action, there’s a full programme of fixtures in the Women’s Premier Division this afternoon.
It’s 0-0 at half-time between Bohemians and Cork City, and Shamrock Rovers’ fixture against Treaty United just got underway at 4pm.
At 5pm, Peamount entertain Wexford, and it’s a Connacht derby as league leaders Galway United are away to Sligo Rovers at 7pm.
Athlone Town and Shelbourne round off the day from 7.30pm.
