Liverpool have completed the signing of striker Hugo Ekitiku from Eintracht Frankfurt.
An agreement was reached between the two clubs on Monday for the 23-year-old to join Arne Slot's Premier League champions, with the deal reportedly worth £69million guaranteed, with a possible £10million in add-ons, the PA news agency reported.
The striker, who scored 22 goals for Frankfurt in all competitions last season, flew to England on Tuesday for a medical ahead of completing the deal and will then head to Asia to join his new Liverpool team-mates on their pre-season tour.
PA understands Newcastle and Manchester United have expressed interest in Ekitiku, whose arrival continues Liverpool's summer spending spree.
Florian Wirtz has signed for Bayer Leverkusen for £100m, with a deal that could rise to £116m. Jeremie Frimpong has also joined Liverpool from the German club for £29.5m, while Milos Kerkez has left Bournemouth for £40m.
Giorgi Mamardashvili also joined Liverpool from Valencia last August, along with goalkeepers Armin Peci and Freddie Woodman.
