Our impatient neighbors had already started decorating their windows with Christmas lights. Admiring the beautiful lights, the child asked me to make a Christmas tree out of lights in the window so that it could be seen from the street.
The task is not too difficult, but I absolutely did not want to stick tape on the window. I had no desire to scrape the glue off the glass after the holidays. A more modern method was needed.
After a little searching on the Internet, I found a great and simple solution. Having gathered everything we needed, we got to work. It took no more than ten minutes. The result was beautiful.
I was convinced that the method really works, despite the fact that I had to spend 225 hryvnias. That's how much the 3M Command plastic clips for attaching garlands cost. I bought them in an online store. They became the main secret of our successful installations.

Besides their convenient shape and transparency, their main feature is a special tab. I'll explain what it's for later.
The hook is attached using the same principle as double-sided tape. First, you need to degrease the surface with alcohol. Then peel off the sticky strips from both sides and press for 10 seconds.
But unlike double-sided tape, there is a significant difference in this design, which also has to do with the mysterious tab. I was very impressed.
We had no problems sticking the hooks to the glass and tiles, but we still had to figure out how they would “get along” with the wallpaper. This is where the fun begins.
Some people are afraid to attach hooks to wallpaper. They believe that such a fastening can only be removed together with a piece of wallpaper (or paint). In fact, this is not so.
The removal process is well thought out and involves an innovative silicone tab.
To remove the design from any surface, you need to gently pull the tab in the opposite direction. It will begin to stretch and gradually pull out the entire adhesive layer on which the hook is held, and it will easily fall off.
To test this, I tried to remove the hook from my non-woven wallpaper. The plastic part came off without any consequences. So my fears were unfounded.
