A story about female solidarity. Gifts for your wife and lover on Valentine's Day 2

This story was shared with me by a friend who works as a salesperson in the souvenir department of a shopping mall.

So, it's February, Valentine's Day is coming soon. A small jewelry island, with other islands with souvenirs and other things densely packed nearby. The salespeople from the neighboring departments see, hear, and observe everything.

A man and a woman in their 40s came in, probably a husband and wife, with some packages. And the wife said something to the man: “It's a holiday, buy me a bracelet.” He didn't hesitate for long, they went to the jewelry store, he bought something.

Then the satisfied wife went to the lingerie department, which was a little further away, and the husband went in the opposite direction, but as soon as his wife entered the store and did not see him, he immediately returned. And quickly bought another bracelet. Obviously, he did not want to show his wife this – as soon as he paid, he hid it in his bosom, and his wife came up.

They continued walking upstairs with her, and his wife was actively showing him something.

My friend approached the woman a few minutes later and told her about the purchase her husband had just made. She felt it was her duty to tell her what she had seen.

The woman, as if she had been waiting for this very news, immediately started attacking her husband, arguing, and throwing the package on the floor. From some of the phrases, it was clear that there was some unresolved issue with her lover.

The couple argued, the man picked up a package from the floor, then they went downstairs. It is not known what happened to them after that. Maybe they hushed up, maybe they eventually broke up.

My friend says she showed female solidarity. But it seems to me that her actions destroyed the family.

Of course, I have a question for my husband too. I won't read the moral of betrayal, what's the point of it… The question that worries me is: how could he have gotten away with a gift like that? How thoughtfully did he do it?

Dear readers, what do you think about this? Perhaps you have witnessed similar stories yourself?

Bearded Pike 🤔 I know similar cases 06.02.2026 19:39 The man is just stupid, – stupid … And he has zero fantasies. His wife “borrowed” herself a gift for the holiday, and it seemed to him that she had given him an idea with a gift for his mistress. Such actions reveal an idiot in a man – he doesn't need such a thing … neither a woman nor a mistress, in fact + Reply
