For the front page of the October 27, 2025, edition focused on financial matters, the artist Christoph Niemann aimed to depict how the extraordinarily affluent remit a shockingly small portion of their income in taxes. During their discussion, Niemann voiced yet another dissatisfaction, an opinion stemming from his purely occupational viewpoint as a creative: “What’s the deal with the juvenile sneaker-and-T-shirt ensemble of Silicon Valley? They are (largely) mature individuals possessing boundless wealth. Can’t they attire themselves appropriately?” he inquired. “Until they formulate a modern, prototypical affluent individual’s style, I’ll simply continue utilizing the ‘top hat, pin-striped trousers, and spats-on-shoes’ getup in my illustrations.”
