In September, the aggregate of automobiles in Ukraine grew by more than 2.6 thousand hybrid vehicles (HEV and PHEV). This represents a rise of 30% compared to the prior year.
Delo.ua conveys this information referring to figures from Ukravtoprom.
It is worth mentioning that the proportion of new vehicles in this volume totaled 52%, in contrast to 60% in September of the previous year.
Leading models
As per analysts, within the sector of fresh passenger vehicles, the Toyota RAV-4 (280 items) continues to reign supreme in the hybrid marketplace.
The Toyota Yaris Cross holds the runner-up position (84 items).
The Toyota Camry is recognized as the third most favored (77 items).
Among imported hybrids that have accrued mileage, the Toyota Prius claims the prime spot (78 items).
Also included in the top three are: Ford Escape (73 items) and Ford Fusion US (73 items).
We remind that in August of 2025, the collection of cars in Ukraine increased by over 2.8 thousand hybrid passenger vehicles (HEV and PHEV). This signifies an escalation of 7% from July.
Vehicle market
In September 2025, the Ukrainian marketplace for novel passenger cars achieved a high for the past year. Throughout the month, exceeding 6.8 thousand recent vehicles were registered.
This shows an augmentation of 20% compared to September of 2024, and a 1% increase from August of 2025.
In September 2025, the most sought-after novel passenger vehicle in Ukraine was, for the first occasion, an electric crossover Volkswagen ID.Unyx — 432 units of such vehicles were procured by Ukrainians.
