During his appearance on NBC, he highlighted the urgency of determining the methodology for freeing the captives and establishing a novel Palestinian governing body.
“Everyone has concurred, Israel included, that eventually, as this progression advances, Gaza will be governed by a Palestinian expert organization distinct from Hamas, free from terrorists, supported, facilitated, and directed by a global association akin to the Peace Council,” Rubio stated.
Rubio further mentioned that the bombardments must cease during the exchange of hostages. He likewise emphasized the imperative for Israeli air raids to cease upon reaching a peace accord.
