Expert names three best exercises for home workouts

Fitness expert Kat Kom named the three best exercises for home workouts. Her words are quoted by Forbes Health.

The first exercise the trainer recommended was push-ups . To begin, you should get into a high plank position, with your hands shoulder-width apart and your legs straight out behind you. Then, you should slowly lower yourself, bending your elbows, and as soon as your chest touches the floor or hovers above it, return to the starting position. “You can keep your elbows pressed to your sides or slightly spread out. It’s important to keep your core and leg muscles tense so that your body remains in a straight line,” Kom added.

Afterwards, Kom recommended doing squats . “Start standing with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend at the hips and bend your knees, lowering yourself until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Keep your feet flat on the floor, ankles and knees parallel to each other, without bending inward. Return to a standing position,” she described the proper technique for doing the exercise. To turn squats into a cardio exercise, the trainer suggested adding jumping jacks.

Then the expert advised doing jumps with arm swings . “Stand with your arms at your sides and your legs together. Jump up, spreading your legs wider than your hips, and at the same time raise your arms above your head. Then jump back to the starting position. Your arms should be slightly bent at the elbows,” she explained the technique for doing the exercise.

Earlier, fitness expert Jay Cardiello shared the rules for returning to training after a long break. The specialist advised starting with yoga or stretching and flexibility exercises twice a week.
