Microsoft is reporting issues with its Outlook email service.
Outlook is actively used by millions of individuals and organizations around the world, and from mid-morning hours onwards, users are facing difficulties in sending and receiving emails.
According to Down Detector, the outages began at approximately 12:40 PM and affected users in the European region.
Users have contacted social platform X to complain about the outages, with some noting similar difficulties in the US.
In an official statement, Microsoft stated: “Individual users in Europe attempting to send or receive email messages through Exchange Online may experience the above issues. We are reviewing service monitoring telemetry to determine the source of the issue and develop workarounds.”
After 15:00, some users reported that the service had been restored.
To be continued.
