Stephen Bunting beat Jonny Clayton 8-6 in the final to claim the Players Championship 25 title in Milton Keynes, producing an impressive comeback after losing the Players Championship 24 final the previous day.

Stephen Bunting avenged his defeat in the Players Championship 24 final on Monday by beating Jonny Clayton in a decider on Tuesday in Milton Keynes.
After a setback against Jeffrey de Graaf the previous day, Bunting produced a superb performance against Clayton to secure his sixth career PDC ranking title.
The athlete averaged 101.74 over three darts and hit six maximum 180s to finish 8-6 in the Players Championship 25.

Stephen Bunting signed an autograph on a fan's head during the Premier League semi-final performance on Night 14 in Leeds.
Asked by pdc.tv about his form, Bunting said: “I'm very confident. I know my level of play. Hopefully it will continue. I'll keep training hard.”

I hope the trend continues. The competition is extremely high and without constant training you can fall behind. But I am satisfied with my performance. I am on top of my game now and will celebrate the victory tonight with Indian cuisine.
Luke Littler, who bowed out of the tournament at the quarter-final stage on Monday, did not compete on Tuesday.
