ANNOUNCER: From ABC News, it’s THIS WEEK. Here’s Martha Raddatz.
RADDATZ: Good morning and welcome to THIS WEEK.
We have just returned from Alaska, where the high-stakes summit between President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin has raised more questions than it answered. After being on the ground for less than six hours, Putin seems to have secured everything he desired — a warm reception on the global stage, while conceding little in terms of actually resolving the conflict in Ukraine. No ceasefire has been established, and President Trump now claims one isn’t necessary while discussions for a broader peace agreement are ongoing.
