Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said his side have made significant strides in the transfer window, signing Noni Madueke, Victor Diokeres and Martin Zubimendi.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes the Premier League competition is “unlike anything we've seen before” and is preparing his Gunners squad for the “toughest” title fight he has ever seen.
The Spaniard is completing his fifth full season in north London and is hoping to end Arsenal's 22-year wait for a top-flight title after finishing runners-up in each of the last three seasons.
Arsenal have also been active in the transfer market, signing six new players for a combined £200m; however, Liverpool and Chelsea have spent over £250m, while Manchester City have also strengthened their talented squad by £150m.

“We all know that to win the Premier League you have to be absolutely outstanding, the level that will be required will be like nothing we have seen before and we are all hungry to win.”
“The level of the coaches, the stability of the teams that have been together for many years, the way they have increased their potential, the understanding between the players, the quality they have brought – this will undoubtedly be the most difficult.”
Arsenal have lost three titles in a row – twice to Manchester City and once to Liverpool last season.
However, no team has picked up more Premier League points than the Gunners in that time, and Arteta often stresses that the only thing left for Arsenal to do is win a trophy.
Sky Sports' Rob Dorsett and Dharmesh Sheth discuss Arsenal's summer transfer window and their success with the likes of Victor Diokeres, Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi moving to the Emirates.
“I think we need to use that,” Arteta added, commenting on the disappointments of the last three
