Rehan Ahmed pulled off this stunning move for Trent Rockets against London Spirit at Lord's Stadium as part of The Hundred.

London Spirit picked up their second win in The Hundred with a 21-point victory over the Trent Rockets.

England wicketkeeper Jamie Smith scored a half-century for the hosts at Lord's to take the score to 162-5 as Joe Root's Rockets, who had won the first two matches, failed to respond.

Smith was eventually caught by his England team-mate Root off Sam Cooke's delivery for 52, but captain Kane Williamson kept the pace up with 45, while Ollie Pope and Ashton Turner also added significant runs.

Openers Tom Banton and Root gave London Spirit a great start in the return game, putting on 73 for the first wicket, but Marcus Stoinis, who hit four sixes, was the only other batsman to make an impression.

Meanwhile, Tom Alsop's innings ended painfully when he bowled just three balls and left the field with blood running from his nose after being hit by Jamie Overton.

Former Australian batsman David Warner, making his first appearance this year in The Hundred, was caught by Marcus Stoinis after just six overs from a delivery from Lockie Ferguson.

However, the Rockets ultimately failed to finish the job, finishing the inning 141 for six.

Smith said: “We've struggled at times at home so it was really important to come here and get a win in front of a fantastic crowd and that will set us up for the next few games we have to play here.”

“Our seamers slowed down and we used the pitch dimensions very well and, most importantly, we kept taking wickets which kept the flow of wickets down.

“It's nice to get points, especially at a new stadium and playing for a new team. It's nice to get off to a good start and we have a great team. I just need to continue to build relationships with those in the team, David Warner and Kane Williamson, and the other players we have.”

The Spirit join the Rockets on eight points in the standings in a five-team title race that also includes the Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave and Northern Superchargers.
