Trump won't say whether he will continue US strikes on Iran

President Donald Trump has not said whether he has decided to order a U.S. strike on Iran, and Tehran has again warned that such a move would result in a harsh response if it is carried out.

“I may or may not do it,” Mr. Trump told reporters at the White House.

“Nobody knows what I'm going to do.”

Mr Trump added that it was “not too late” for Iran to abandon its nuclear programme as it continued to consider direct US involvement in Israeli military action to quell threats from Tehran.

“We talk all the time, including last night,” Mr. Netanyahu said on Wednesday. “We had a very warm conversation.”
