Oleksandr Usyk has invited US President Donald Trump to spend a week at his home to better understand the events of the war in Ukraine.
Trump promised to resolve the conflict “within 24 hours” of taking office, but more than three years after Vladimir Putin's full-scale Russian invasion began, there is no end in sight.
Usyk, a former undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion, described the grim reality of life in Ukraine and believes Trump needs to better understand the situation.
“I recommend that American President Donald Trump come to Ukraine and stay with me for one week, just one week,” Usyk, the WBC, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion, said in an interview with the BBC.
