Track cycling
Lara Gillespie registered another top-10 finish at the World Track Cycling Championships in Denmark on Friday night.
She followed a fifth place finish in Thursday’s Elimination Race, with eighth in the Women’s Omnium.
Gillespie returns to the velodrome along with Mia Griffin for the Madison this evening.

Formula One
Max Verstappen will go from pole position in the sprint race at the United States Grand Prix this evening.
The sprint race starts in Austin at 7pm Irish Time, before qualifying for Sunday’s main event at 11pm.
