Arsenal began their latest bid to take the Premier League title from champions Manchester City with a 2-0 win against Wolves.

But it wasn’t a good start for West Ham in their first game under Julen Lopetegui as they lost 2-1 to Aston Villa.

Earlier, Arne Slot got his Liverpool reign underway with a 2-0 victory over newly promoted Ipswich.

The Waterford man shot a 4 under round of 66 to move himself up to 7 under par for the week.

Shane Lowry’s level par round of 70 means he remains on 2 under par overall.

Rory McIlroy is now up to 4 over par.

Hideki Matsuyama is still the man to catch on 16 under.
