A late goal gave Shamrock Rovers a 2-1 win away to Waterford as they attempt a late run to defend their league title.
Graham Burke scored the winning goal in the 85th minute to move them above Waterford on goal difference.
In tonight’s other action, Galway United were 2-0 winners away to Dundalk thanks to two goals from Stephen Walsh in the second half.
Galway, Sligo Rovers, Waterford and Shamrock Rovers are all on 37 points after Friday’s games.
At the other end of the table, Bohemians and Drogheda United played out a 2-2 draw, with the Dublin side reduced to 10 men after Leigh Kavanagh was sent off.
The result means Drogheda remain bottom of the table, two points behind Dundalk.
