Kick off in Nantes is at 8pm Irish time.

Before that, today’s action begins in Bordeaux with Samoa’s Pool D meeting with Chile from 2pm, while it’s a 4.45pm start for the Pool C clash of Wales and Portugal in Nice.

Soccer

The Premier League resumes after the international break this afternoon.

Joe Gomez moves to right-back for Liverpool in place of the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Leaders Manchester City will be aiming to make it five wins from five with a victory at West Ham.

Those four games kick off at 3pm.

Golf

Defending champion Shane Lowry is five-under-par early in his third round at the BMW PGA Championship.

The Offaly native is now five shots off the lead at Wentworth, with Swedish duo Ludvig Aberg and Sebastian Soderbeg the players to catch at 10-under.

Rory Mcllroy and Tom McKibbin are both on one-under-par.

Formula One

The F1 season has made its way to Singapore, with qualifying due to take place on Saturday afternoon.

At the end of the third free practice, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz was quickest, followed by Mercedes’ George Russell and McLaren’s Lando Norris.

Championship leader Max Verstappen of Red Bull found himself back in fourth after looking far from comfortable during the session.

Qualifying is set to get underway at 2pm Irish time.

Racing

The Grade One St Leger Stakes is the feature race at Doncaster today, getting underway at 3.35pm.

Navan also host an eight-race card over jumps this afternoon.
