Rescue teams in South Africa are continuing their search for missing people for a third day after floods wreaked havoc across parts of the rural Eastern Cape province, killing at least 57 people.
Officials said they expected the death toll to rise.
Among those missing are four high school students who were swept away when their bus was flooded near a river on Tuesday.
Six students on the bus died while three were rescued by holding onto trees and calling for help, the provincial government said.
Flooding hit the region on Tuesday morning when a strong cold front brought heavy rain, strong winds and snow to parts of eastern and southern South Africa.
Meteorologists warned of impending destructive weather last week.
Eastern Cape government officials said they believed people were still missing, but did not give an exact number.
They said they were working with families to find out who was still missing.
