The second half of August brought Ukrainians a pleasant surprise – gasoline prices fell from 0.5 to 1.5 hryvnia per liter. And September may continue this trend. Moreover, the price drop may be up to 2 hryvnia for gasoline and up to 1 hryvnia for diesel fuel.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
This forecast was made by fuel market analyst Serhiy Kuyun , AgroReview reports. The reason for this is the emergence of prerequisites on the market for fuel prices to fall, and the gasoline segment has the greatest potential for a decrease.
Thus, already in early September, according to Serhiy Kuyun's calculations, the price may drop by approximately two hryvnias per liter, while diesel will become cheaper by approximately one hryvnia. Thus, it will be possible to see price tags of less than 60 hryvnias per liter of gasoline.
It should be noted that, according to the Ministry of Finance portal, as of August 29, the price of 1 liter of gasoline is:

- 57 UAH — for A-92;
- 58.85 UAH — for A-95;
- 63.35 UAH — for A-95 premium
- 56 UAH for diesel fuel.
The expert also categorically rejected the possibility of a sharp increase in prices to 70 hryvnias and above, since there are no economic reasons for this level of price increase.
As for liquefied gas, its price, according to the analyst, remains stable and corresponds to the objective level. At the moment, it costs UAH 34.45.
Serhiy Kuyun also emphasized that the recent attacks on oil depots and enterprises in Odessa, Kremenchuk, and Izmail will not affect the fuel shortage or its price in any way. The explanation for this is market pricing, high competition, and an extensive system of import supplies.
