Nestled among the tulips just outside Amsterdam, the famous Keukenhof gardens opened their doors in the spring, welcoming camera-wielding visitors to their increasingly photogenic grounds.
On sunny days, the park's paths, benches and cafes are filled with tourists taking photos and selfies with one of the most famous symbols of the Netherlands – the tulip.
It was precisely these images, published on social media, that caught the attention of Austrian lawyer Daniel Magnus.
“Every time you see a photograph taken by an influencer, you do something with it,” Mr. Magnus told The Associated Press.
“You get new sensations from other places, traditions, people, etc. You want to go there too.”
Mr Magnus has just finished taking his own photos on a small boat set up in one of the park's canals for visitors to take their own Instagram shots.
