An 11-year-old boy has become the second child to die in a minibus crash on an English motorway.

An 11-year-old boy has become the second child to die when a minibus overturned on a motorway exit.

Othniel Adomah, from Bracknell, Berkshire, died on Thursday, more than three weeks after the single-car crash.

The white Ford Transit minibus overturned on the eastbound exit at junction 10 of the M4 near Wokingham on Sunday, May 11.

The accident also killed a six-year-old boy, whose name has not been released.

Five injured children have already been discharged from the hospital.

Detective Sergeant Lindsay Blackaby, from Thames Valley Police's Major Incident Investigation Team, said: “My thoughts and those of all Thames Valley Police are with the family and friends of Othniel Adomah.

“Othniel's family shared some beautiful photos of Othniel in his memory.

“Othniel's family asks that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.”

South Central Ambulance Service said the crash was first reported at 2:24 p.m., with crews arriving on scene eight minutes later.

Five intensive care units, including two air ambulances and six ambulances, were dispatched to the scene of the incident.

There were no arrests.
