Fire Point announced the readiness dates for the Ukrainian ballistic missile with a range of up to 850 km
A Ukrainian ballistic missile with a range of up to 850 km will be ready in mid-2026. According to him, such missiles have many advantages compared to the Russian Iskanders.
This was stated by Denis Shtilerman, the chief designer and co-owner of the Ukrainian company Fire Point, in an interview with Dmitry Gordon.
They fly further, carry more, cost less, and reach the target one and a half times faster than the Iskander.

He believes that “tiny shipments” of American and European aid have given Russia the ability to cope with their weapons.
They gave Ukraine some Hymers, and the Russians learned to deal with them; now they will give us some Tomahawks, and Russia will learn to deal with them; they gave us some Patriots, and the Russians will learn how to bypass them with Iskanders. This drip aid is like treating a bacterium with small doses of different antibiotics – in the end you get a superbug that is resistant to all antibiotics. And that is why the Russian empire must be put to an end. If there is no Ukraine, the Russians will go further, like a knife through butter.
Stillerman reported that a European anti-ballistic shield will be created based on the FP-7 missile.
Because this missile has a vertical launch, it tilts quickly, it is very maneuverable and it was originally planned to intercept ballistic targets. And we are telling the Europeans to take the missile and train their radars to intercept ballistics on our launches.

At the same time, he added that integration with Ukraine is then necessary, and our country will not dictate any conditions.
We are selling not only security, but also independence. And this is very important, because for every launch of “Hymers” we receive some keys from the Americans. For every step we get permission. It's some kind of horror.
According to him, Ukraine is only asking partners to open the software to make sure that there is no possibility of remote shutdown. He added that many European companies have agreed to participate in this consortium.
I think that by the end of 2027 we will have achieved the first ballistic interception.
