The manufacturer of ground robotic systems Ratel will install Ukrainian engines on combat and logistics robots. This will allow to abandon Chinese parts in ground robotic complexes.

There will be even fewer Chinese components in our works. We have started testing Ukrainian-made motors. Next up are the controllers for them.

The engine for robots was developed by one of the Ukrainian enterprises. They will soon be able to be installed on serial products.
According to Ostapchuk, Ratel is currently developing its own engine, which they plan to test in two months. The company plans to develop its own controller for it.
Currently, the Ratel M/H/X models consist of 80% Ukrainian and European parts. Localization of the engine and controller will reduce the share of Chinese components to 5%. And by 2026, the company plans to completely get rid of them.
