The Russians have created a new modification of guided aerial bombs that are supposedly immune to electronic warfare and can fly up to 200 kilometers.
Main theses:
- The Russian army has developed a new modification of guided aerial bombs capable of flying up to 200 km.
- Guided aerial bombs of the UMPB-5 type are based on the FAB-500 aerial bomb with a jet engine, which can glide up to a distance of 150 km.
Russia has created a new modification of the KAB: what is its danger?
This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov.
Russian KABs are still our problem. They have too many bombs and they cause too much destruction. Of course, the enemy understands this and is constantly improving them.
According to him, the new versions of the UMPB-5 KAB are based on the FAB-500 aerial bomb. The version with a jet engine is capable of flying up to 200 kilometers, and without an engine, the guided bomb can glide up to 150 km.
I would like to emphasize that there is nothing technologically new here. But I would like to study their new electronic warfare protection system that they are advertising.
