The largest French car manufacturer Renault has officially confirmed that it has already agreed to cooperate with the defense company Turgis Gaillard on the production of drones for Ukraine.

Renault will strengthen the Ukrainian army
The company's team told reporters that they intend to manufacture drones at two factories at once.
Despite this, the details of the contract, its cost, and planned production volumes will not be publicly disclosed at this time.
Renault director Fabrice Kamboliv has already made a statement on this matter.
According to the latter, his company was approached due to its manufacturing and creative industry expertise.
“This project is ongoing and coordinated by the French Ministry of Defense. We confirm our participation in this project at the request of the state,” he explained.

The Renault and Turgis Gaillard teams did not want to tell the media which drones they were talking about: strike, reconnaissance, or defensive.
Journalists draw attention to the fact that drones remain one of the main tools of Ukraine's defense, in particular for deterring the Russian offensive and strikes on the enemy's rear infrastructure.
What is also important to understand is that Renault previously produced defense equipment, primarily tanks used in World Wars I and II.
