Only One in Ten Companies Ready for AI. Managers Increasingly Skeptical

The editors draw attention to the Adecco Group study on leadership in the age of AI, which at the turn of 2024 and 2025 covered 2,000 board members (mainly CEOs, IT and HR heads) of large companies from 13 Western countries.

It shows that “although virtually every surveyed corporation is already using AI tools, and over half of them have increased their productivity thanks to them in the past year, only one in ten top managers believes that their companies are ready for the future of AI.”

“This readiness means that the company has already developed plans to support employees, including building their skills and leadership, in order to prepare the business for the transformation forced by the development of artificial intelligence. The best results were achieved by corporations from the US and Japan, where 15% and 12% of survey participants, respectively, highly value their companies' preparation for the AI revolution,” reports “Rz”.

He points out that, as this year's edition of the report has shown, the trust of boards of large companies in the strategy of implementing AI in their companies has decreased. “Although the majority (58%) of surveyed presidents and directors are still convinced of the validity of this strategy and the effective implementation of new solutions, the percentage of these indications has decreased by 11 percentage points compared to last year's study,” he adds.

It also points out that “in Europe, the largest percentage of companies strategically prepared for the AI revolution is in Spain (11 percent) and Germany (10 percent)”. (PAP)
