Data from justjoin.it indicate that in IT, companies are currently most eager to look for Python programmers and analysts (7,778 ads), Java (1,296) and JavaScript (over 1,000 job offers). Data Scientists are also very popular (608 job offers). In terms of the number of ads, there is also a high demand for CAD engineers and designers – 451, graphic designers – 311 offers, as well as for pentesters and cybersecurity specialists, for whom there are currently 310 ads available.

We need twice as many workers here

The largest percentage increase in job offers can be seen among employees using artificial intelligence, including machine learning. Demand for specialists in AI/ML areas increased almost twice at the turn of February and March. There are currently about 300 job offers available for them. They include various positions, such as:

  • AI Engineer
  • Senior AI/ML Engineer
  • Machine Learning Engineer
  • Data Scientist
  • MLOps Engineer
  • AI Developer

Intensive changes in AI

There is a particularly visible increase in demand for specialists who use artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in their daily work. The combined categories of Prompt Engineer, AI Specialist and Machine Learning Engineer have gained significant importance.

– The IT industry is entering a period of intensive transformation. Company investments are mainly focused on artificial intelligence, data analytics and automation, with the key criterion being the ability of employees to generate measurable business benefits. For IT professionals, this means the need for continuous development of competences, with particular emphasis on the effective use of AI tools in practice – says Paweł Baraniewicz, Head of Engineering at job portals justjoin.it and rocketjobs.pl.

To make good use of AI, analysts are needed

In turn, according to Andrzej Wiglusz, HR and Administration Director at Komputronik SA, interesting conclusions can also be drawn from a study by NTT DATA Business Solutions, which analyzed the development of technology among manufacturing companies planned for 2025.

– Here, the respondents indicated big data analytics (84%) and the issue of data in the first place. For comparison, the need for the development of artificial intelligence was mentioned by 44% of representatives of manufacturing companies – says Andrzej Wiglusz. – Therefore, there are many indications that Polish companies first want to take care of the appropriate quality of data, and then develop AI issues. Without good analytics, they will not fully use the potential of artificial intelligence – he adds.

Therefore, both analysts and artificial intelligence specialists can be sure that there will be no shortage of work for them in the near future.
