The skyrocketing cost of key components for smartphone production is forcing Apple to make an extremely unpleasant decision. For the first time in nearly 10 years, iPhone prices are skyrocketing.

iPhone prices will still rise
Morgan Stanley analysts conducted a detailed analysis of the market situation and concluded that the cost of the iPhone 18 series could increase by more than $100.
What is important to understand is that they do not predict a gradual increase in the cost of all smartphones, but rather an increase in the cost of individual configurations.
First of all, it can cover configurations with 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB of memory.
Experts suggest that the maximum version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max may exceed the $2,000 mark for the first time.
Moreover, it is indicated that the basic versions of the iPhone 18 and the starting Pro configurations with 256 GB of memory will quite possibly retain the previous price.
This way, Apple will be able to retain a mass buyer and also lower the threshold for entry into the ecosystem.
According to insiders, a final decision on pricing has not yet been made.
The presentation of the new iPhones should take place in early September.
