Victor Diokeres has been allowed to complete his £63.8m move to Arsenal after reaching a final agreement with Sporting.
The 27-year-old is expected to undergo a medical in London to finalise his transfer before joining the squad for their pre-season tour of Asia.
Arsenal will have to pay £55.1m (€63.5m) as a fixed fee plus £8.7m (€10m) in add-ons.

Sporting are expecting to receive £1.09m for every 20 games Diokeres plays for Arsenal, with a cap of up to £4.36m, as well as £430,000 for every 20 goals or assists he makes, up to a total of £873,000.
Every time Arsenal qualify for the Champions League, Sporting expect to receive £873,000, but no more than £3.5m.
Negotiations over additional payments dragged on for more than a week before progress was made earlier this week.
Sporting reportedly spent much of Thursday reviewing contracts before deciding to reach an overall agreement.
