Ukraine, which boycotted the opening ceremony of the competition due to the participation of Russians and Belarusians under its flags, is not represented only in hockey and curling.
Recall that at the 2022 Paralympic Games in Beijing, 29 Ukrainian athletes and guides competed in cross-country skiing and biathlon. With 29 medals (11 gold, 10 silver, 8 bronze), Ukraine took second place in the overall team standings, behind China.
Previously, “FACTS” reported that Ukrainian parabiathletes won six awards at the 2026 Paralympics on the first day of competition, and four on the second.
