
Ukrainian national team striker Roman Yaremchuk, who left Olympiacos for Lyon, scored his debut goal in the French championship.

In the home match of the team of former Shakhtar coach Paulo Fonseca against Lorient, the 30-year-old footballer started in the starting lineup of the “weavers” and in the 49th minute put Lyon ahead with a well-aimed header (Roman was replaced in the 86th minute). The seven-time French champions were able to break their 9-match winless streak in Ligue 1 (four draws, five losses) and are in 5th place in the standings.
